Smoking and Aircrew

Dec 11, 2019

Abstract

Cigarette smoking is the single most important preventable environmental factor contributing to illness, disability, and premature death. The high morbidity and mortality rate is due to the effects of cigarette smoke on several diseases, primarily lung cancer, ischaemic heart disease, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease.

In addition, the use of electronic cigarettes is known to cause adverse health effects.
