Abstract
As research on pilots' health and wellbeing becomes increasingly vital, IFALPA emphasizes the importance of adhering to ethical principles in scientific studies. Ensuring informed consent, voluntariness, confidentiality, and scientific integrity protects participants' rights while maintaining research credibility. IFALPA advocates for transparency, respect for participants, and adherence to established ethical guidelines, whether research is conducted by universities, research institutions, or within airlines, to ensure responsible data collection and meaningful contributions to aviation safety.
