General Information
As part of IFALPA’s Professional Development, IFALPA - in cooperation with the Associacao Dos Pilotos Portugueses De Linha Aerea - (APPLA) – invites participants to the Runway Safety Team Training course.
The course will cover the intermediate and advanced level of knowledge and exercises on RST topics.
- What is a Runway Safety Team (RST)?
- How to effectively participate in an RST
- Identifying and prioritizing hazards: -overview of ICAO Hazard Identification and Risk Management
- Mitigating hazards: -Review of resources for mitigation proposals by major category of hazard
- Following up on proposals/actions
- Simulated Runway Safety Team meeting
Objective
The outcome of this training will be to have qualified pilot representatives who are able to actively participate in their LRSTs in their own countries.
Fees and cancellation
IFALPA participants: $100 CAD per person
Non-IFALPA participants: Fee upon request
There will be no reimbursement for cancellations after 21 August 2023
