10th Annual Global Pilots’ Symposium
Rethink, Reimagine, Reset
Pilots Helping Pilots
2021 will mark the 10th Global Pilots Symposium. Hosted by IFALPA and the three global pilot alliances: Association of Star Alliance Pilots (ASAP), Oneworld Cockpit Crew Coalition (OCCC) and SkyTeam Pilots’ Association (SPA), the tenth edition of the GPS will be virtually held on Thursday 18 March 2021 from 1300-1530 UTC. You can now watch GPS here.
The symposium will be divided into two parts. The first part will feature compelling stories of how the world's pilots have helped other pilots throughout the last year, specifically in areas of safety, COVID-19 support, pilot redundancies, and the work of the IFALPA Response Team (IRT). The second half of the symposium will feature a panel discussion moderated by IFALPA Professional and Government Affairs Vice-Chair Capt. Karine Gély. She will be joined by pilot leaders from IFALPA, ECA, ALPA, and the three pilot alliances – ASAP, OCCC and SPA – and she will invite them to address many topics including our global response as pilots to the challenges presented by the pandemic including restructuring the industry, our profession and working towards a financially, socially and environmentally sustainable industry.
We invite all IFALPA, ASAP, OCCC, and SPA Member Associations to join us on 18 March and we encourage you to distribute the meeting link amongst your membership.
