General Information
11th Annual Global Pilots’ Symposium
This year, GPS will continue from where it left off in 2021. Highlighting the theme of Rethink, Reimagine, Reset, the program will be a thought-provoking analysis of what we have learned from the pandemic and past industry upsets and how we can apply those lessons in the future.
The pandemic has demonstrated the profound inequity between pilot compensation, benefits, and working conditions, as well as a disconcerting difference in levels of safety - specifically with respect to positive (just) safety culture.
We will explore whether we have the right tools, the right structures, or even the right mindset to close the gap and deal with the critical issues facing our profession in the coming years. These include the issues raised above, as well as the impending threat of reduced crew operations and single pilot operations.
The GPS agenda is published below. Check this website for regular updates.
